ZCLasers

ZCLasers was an all black website that showed off my wonderfully dangerous portable laser systems. The lasers (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) were created on a budget, sold at a very modest price and were very durable (and of course powerful). They are no longer made today, apparently the government doesn't like really bright shiny things. I imagine it has something to do with them being nearly as feeble minded as our feline friends, and are worried they might end up chasing after shiny dots for hours on end. Below are some videos, pics and of course the lovely instruction manual I would include with every portable laser system.

Video Evidence

My first video, demonstrating various feats the laser was capable of.

This was the final video I made, popping tens of thousands of balloons!

This was my first customer, we had noted that black "things" burn very rapidly. Which of course lead to testing it on gunpowder.

Photo Evidence

The lasers could be shot miles and miles, this may seem like a puny laser beam however this is actually being shined through flog at night and hitting a cloud miles above our heads!

This was taken with a standard camera, no long exposure used. I made a "Spirograph" device so I could rapidly fire my lasers in all different directions. Sort of like a deadly rave.

Kinda wish I had used long exposure here, however the effect is still obvious. Producing a laser 'Z' with fog and mirrors.

Laser Info

Thanks for your interest in my lasers, if you'd like to know even more you can contact me directly via the link below. Below is the instruction manual, spec sheet, and safety guide for my lasers.

INSTRUCTIONS | SAFETY | SPECIFICATION

Congratulations on your new laser purchase! Now that you have your own powerful laser portable, there are some things you should know first BEFORE you turn it on. You need to read the safety tips and instructions before you can turn on your laser.

Safety – Follow these instructions very carefully to avoid injury and other dangers:
  • Never look directly into the laser (Fig.1 #1), at any distance. This includes you and others.
  • Never point the laser at someone, even if it’s not their face! Pets and animals can be harmed too!
  • Wear 650nm certified laser goggles to prevent eye damage.
  • Always terminate the laser beam with a light absorbing material or diffuse screen.
  • When adjusting or aligning a laser, beware of reflections from optical surfaces.
  • Clearly mark the path of the beam and provide barriers to prevent accidental contact with eyes.
  • Deliberately directing a laser toward an aircraft is a federal offense in the United States!
  • Instruct anyone else with you as to the hazards of laser light and make sure they understand all of these guidelines. Those with you may actually be in more danger because they will be looking toward the direction of the action while you will know what to expect and avoid.

Instructions – Your laser is very simple to use, just follow these steps:
  • Read laser safety sheet and warnings on the laser device.
  • Remove tape from battery compartment, by unscrewing bottom cap (Fig.1 #5) and peeling it off.
  • Return the bottom cap back to the case, making sure it’s a snug fit.
  • Turn on by pressing the bottom clicker button (Fig.1 #6)
  • Adjust laser beam focal point by turning the silver tip clockwise, counterclockwise. (Fig. 1 #1)
  • Caution, the laser optical lens can be completely removed if you unscrew it all the way!
  • Never disassemble any other part of your laser device. You will destroy it if you do. Do not unscrew parts 2,3 or 4 (Fig.1)

Maintenance – Keeping a healthy laser.
  • Change your batteries by unscrewing the bottom cap (Fig.1 #1) and replace with 2 CR123A 3.0v batteries.

Note: The device will not power if you don’t place the batteries in a series. (Fig. 2) Use new batteries. Plus side of both batteries goes facing up, towards #1 of Fig. 1
  •  If the beam becomes blurry, this is usually do to dirt and lint from your pocket. The best way to avoid this is keep the device out of your pocket, but it can be cleaned with compressed air. Do not use window cleaners, water or rags because this will scratch your lens and make it worse.
